Key feedback included making spider diagrams more clear and learning more from explanations. The peers' feedback helped the author decide on their final topic.
2. AUDIENCE FEEDBACK
• Through audience feedback I've learnt that the audiences opinion is
everything, I went through some of my topics with my peers and they
gave me different ideas to fix and add.
• One of them was the explanation of my topic which I had not gone into
depth with my spider diagrams they were unclear to others and needed
more of a focused topic.
• Another was they felt they did not really learn much from my
explanations so that was a major I needed to address.
• My peers helped me in my decision to come to the topic I have now.

Obsession
• Having unlimited access to celebs lives makes it easy to worship celebs
known as ‘ Celebrity Worship Syndrome’
• Syndrome refers to a set of abnormal / unusual set of symptoms
• 1st covered by James Champman (Daily Mail 2003)
• There are three types of classification :
1. Entertainment – Social : Fans who are attracted to a favourite celeb, they like
to talk about them with friends
2. Intense – Personal : Knowing more than the ordinary fan does i.e. The celebs
likes and dislikes which gives the fan something to relate with to the star
3. Borderline – Pathological : Fantasising, constantly thinking about the celeb
i.e. You thinking you would one day marry the celeb

17. RESEARCH TOPIC
• With the classification it would seen that most if not all fans would fall
under ‘Intense – Personal’ or ‘Borderline – Pathological’ if not both
• We see these kind of obsession as the norm until some fan begins to
stalk in person and make public declarations of their love for the celeb
i.e. Miley Cyrus
She gained a stalker that went to her house
with a pair of scissors in order to attack her
fiancé
