Two Years Ago

 I said the following:

 • inking about DOOH as a content-managed, tracked version of OOH
 was short-sighted, and very similar to early web magazine efforts

 • at the biggest businesses online aren’t about distributing at media,
 they’re interactive propositions: Google, Facebook, Quora, Amazon, Orbitz,
 Match.com, EBay, Net ix, etc.

 • “Interactive media have the potential to be social, useful, and
 transactional, and therefore have the potential to generate exponentially
 more value than non-interactive -- even digital -- media.”
What’s changed since then...
On February 15, 2011 four of WPP’s leading digital Agencies
merged to become one global business

Yet only 14% of Target’s customers were buying in-store.
e Target Videogame Advisor is currently in use in over 1,500
Target stores in North America.
What did we learn?

    • Our partners were constructive and helpful
      (retail design, technology, UX)

    • e technology exists to do easily create small-
      screen (<=60”) interactive applications

    • e customers are excited and willing to
      experiment and give feedback

...but it is difficult for clients to change the way they
have traditionally done business.

    • clients are increasingly embracing touch and
     interactive objects

    • the public is accepting new interactive tools and
     platforms every day, even as they eclipse their old
     media (textbooks, television, print)

    • OMMA DOOH is now not just a media conference,
     but a creative one as well.

  5. Introducing Possible Worldwide. Possible Worldwide is a new global agency that creates meaningful and measurable interactive marketing.&amp;#xA0;&amp;#xA0;We launched on February 17th, 2011, and we are formed by the staffs of BLUE, Bridge Worldwide, Quasar, and Schematic.\n\n

Well for over a year we had been discussing the changes in the digital landscape, hearing that our clients where asking for more global reach and deeper capabilities. At the same time we were all seeing this need to move beyond using digital as a communications medium and leveraging it as a medium for our clients to more deeply engage their customers.. and so we decided that the best way to make this happen was to merge and create a brand new agency - one that brought all of the greatness of our individual selves into a truly global offering for our clients. \n\n
