Loss of angle between the nail bed and the finger
May be a feeling of sponginess of the proximal nail bed
Causes:
 lung cancer
 chronic suppurative lung disease
 infective endocarditis
 cyanotic heart disease
 cirrhosis of the liver
 inflammatory bowel disease
 congenital
