2. This screenshot highlights how I have created
an account on survey monkey, a website which
creates questionnaires and allows them to be
shared online. I used this website because it
made my work look more professional and it
was also more efficient as I was able to share
the link via email; it gained a large amount of
feedback from teachers who then filled out the
questionnaire electronically with their forms.
3. The questions I needed to ask
were important as it helped me
find out who my target audience is
and it helped me find out their
specific expectations when
watching TV news.
4. In order to gain reliable results
which I can work with, I needed to
distribute my questionnaire equally.
Therefore, this screenshot
highlights how 8 males and 8
females have interacted with my
questionnaire. This is enough data
for me to work with in order to
produce a TV news programme
which successfully targets my
audience.
5. From this website, I was
also enabled to find out
which specific ages like
certain parts of the
news. Due to the fact
that the largest
percentage of
interactions were from
people aged 39 and
over, I was able to see
how I need to target an
older audience.
6. From these results, I was able to
see how the largest percentage of
people who took part with my
questionnaire liked to watch the
whole broadcast and the second
largest watched the weather.
Therefore, I decided to include my
main story, followed by a weather
report in my TV news programme.
