老: 我們掌握了面積、面積單位和長方形面積的計算,請同學們回憶以下
幾個問題。
1.什麼叫面積?
答(物體的表面或閉合平面圖形的大小,叫做它們的面積)
2.測量或計算面積時,有哪些常用的面積單位?
答(平方厘米、平方米)—板書
3. 想一想長方形、正方形各有什麼特徵?
答(長方形有四條邊,對邊相等;正方形四條邊都相等)
4.要計算長方形的面積,必須知道哪兩個已知條件?
答(長和寬各是多少)
5.長方形面積公式是?
答(長 X 闊)—板書

1.看圖列式計算長方形面積.(ppt)
投影出示長 6 厘米、寬 2 厘米的長方形.(單位:厘米)
(逐步移動長方形的寬,直至使長方形轉化為正方形)
要學生講出該長方形的面積橫式:
長 6 厘米、寬 2 厘米 6×2=12(平方厘米)
長 6 厘米、寬 3 厘米 6×3=18(平方厘米)
長 6 厘米、寬 4 厘米 6×4=24(平方厘米)
長 6 厘米、寬 5 厘米 6×5=30(平方厘米)
長 6 厘米、寬 6 厘米 6×6=36(平方厘米)

答﹕正方形的面積=邊長×邊長
=邊長自乘
着全班朗讀一次正方形的面積公式。

例:有一塊邊長是 8 厘米的正方形手帕,它的面積是多少?
(學生獨立完成,然後找一位同學出來黑板做。)
答 8×8=64 平方厘米
老﹕你地覺得找出正方形面積容易嗎?
現在有一個難題,老師想知道當周界相同時,長方形和正方形的面
積有何變化。你們分組進行活動,找出答案。
3.小組活動﹕
全班分五組(已分),着每個組員所負責的長方形形狀不同,,但周界
同樣是 20 厘米。先詢問有哪幾個組合。5 個
周界是 20 厘米的長方形可能組合﹕(長方形的長和闊之和是 10 厘米)
1)1x9 = 9 cm²
2)2x8= 16 cm²
3)3x7= 21 cm²
4)4x6= 24 cm²
5)5x5= 25 cm²
指明幾號同學做第幾題(例﹕1 號做第 1 題),剪貼出該題的長方形圖形,
並記下周界和面積分別的公式和答案。
完成後請一組出來報告。
得出結論﹕當長方形或正方形的周界相同時,面積最大的是正方形。
做完後,着班長將成品將貼在後面壁報板下。
交代﹕老﹕相反,如果面積相同,是長方形或正方形的周界最大呢?
