This rubric evaluates PowerPoint presentations on four criteria: text, graphics, animation, and background/layout. According to the rubric, a skilled presentation will have easy to read text in appropriate font sizes and lengths, all graphics will be related to and help explain the content, animation will help the audience understand the flow, and the background and layout will make good use of spacing. An expert presentation will achieve all of these and additionally have pleasing visuals and themes that connect the content.
