•Jesus should mean so much to
us because of what His great
sacrifice has accomplished.
•As we consider our passage of
Scripture let us learn some truths
that God wants us to believe.
•Because Jesus lives we have
much to rejoice over…

3. More Sacrifices For
Sin Are Not Needed!
•The Old Law had…
•Constant animal sacrifices which could
not take away sin. Heb. 10:1-4
•This resulted in their being reminded of
their sins every year.
•But Jesus came to change this problem.
Heb. 10:5-14

4. Jesus Paid the Price
For All!
•Now we are under a New Covenant!
Heb. 10:16-18; 8:6; 12:24
•Now we’re reminded that God has forgiven us
through Christ. Sins no longer remembered.
•Christ’s sacrifice includes the blood of the
perfect body to be offered for the sins of the
world. Jn. 1:29; Mt. 26:28; Eph. 1:7

5. We Can Have
Cheerful Confidence!
•To approach God to worship Him.
Heb. 10:19-22
•We now can approach God (draw
near) with these needed qualities.
1 Peter 2:4-5, 9-10
•We can hold fast our profession
without wavering! V.23
•We should also stir up love
and good works. V.24

6. We Can Prepare For
The Judgment!
•With full assurance of faith we
can assemble together and exhort
one another looking forward to
Christ’s return. V.25
•We are here for God and for
each others benefit!
•Because He lives we can rejoice
and be comforted! 1 Thes. 4:13-ff

7. Will You Be Ready
When Jesus Comes?
•Get ready now! 2 Thes. 1:6-10
•To OBEY the Gospel of Christ and be
saved, You must…
•Hear & believe the gospel. 1 Cor. 15:1-4
•Repent of sinful living. Acts 3:19
•Confess faith in Jesus. Acts 8:37
•Be Baptized into Christ. Rom. 6:3-6
•Be faithful. Rev. 2:10
