How Does A Camera
     Work?!
•
       Letsworks
    How an eye
               Start With...
• Light enters the eye through the pupil, the
dark center of the colored iris

• Next, light passes through the lens which
expands or contracts to focus an image

• Then the light hits the back of the eye which
  is lined with the retina

• The retina is lined with photoreceptors that
translate the light into electric impulses sent
along the optic nerve to the brain
How the Camera
• Works
Light enters the lens and passes through the
    aperture (*pupil) .

• Then light is focused upon by adjusting the
  camera lens (*lens).

• The light hits the film or camera sensor inside
of the camera (*retna) where it creates and
  records an image.

• When a shutter button is pressed the shutter
closes, blocks light from the film/sensor so
that it can record the image.
