DEVICES that can be implanted in the brain are being trialled to treat seizures, pain, psychiatric
conditions and Parkinson's disease. New electrodes - half a millimetre thick - are being designed
to insert into the brain, detect abnormal brain activity and deliver instant treatment.

• VCRs, Internet, mobile phones, ipads were not invented with
education in mind but they have become commonplace tools
in educational delivery.
• Education co-opts popular technologies for its own use.
• Robots, wearable technology, augmented reality WILL
be part of educational delivery of the future – it’s
up to you to show us HOW.
