Worked closely with the QA dept to deliver high-quality products that display consistently across all browsers. I was asked to

resulting in faster searches when making changes or adding code - enabling the programmers to accomplish more work, more
easily and in less time.
Flash developer – created interactive flash banners, incorporating streaming video directly into the banner designs, which has
shown to entice visitors to return and to be more interactive with the site's design more often.
Complete re-work/overhaul of entire portal's "text only" section of our sites to be 508 compliant. (some 4,000+ pages)
FRANCE
La Rochelle, France – June 2003 - October 2006
Web Developer / Print Production Artist / Graphic Designer / Art Director / Business Owner
After the collapse of the Silicon Valley, I moved to France and got married to my French wife whom I had met in San Francisco.
While living abroad, I started my own Web Design company in La Rochelle, France. I provided print design and other
multimedia services to our clients. We specialized and excelled at creating 'boutique' websites - utilizing each clients' company's
logo and brand presence to drive the design and overall look and feel of the web site (ie. incorporation parts of the decor and
colors of the restaurant into the site's design (ex: the woodwork, its decorations, the view, etc.)).
My services were also requested by an upper-scale regional-feature type magazine on the Isle of Re (Ile de Re) for several
months to work on numerous annual special editions/publications, and to replace the Senior Graphic Designer/Production
Manager who had recently become a new father. (in France the father is given 2 full weeks off for the birth of a baby)
We were also called upon to translate various high-visibility marketing materials for the local Chamber of Commerce, as well as
translation of the entire web site for the La Rochelle International Airport's web site.
