I've been a gamer ever since Atari's founding fathers released Pong. From there I moved to the Atari 2600, coding my first game on a MS DOS IBM PC, playing Wolfenstein 3D and Doom on the PC and all generations of the XBox console. To me gaming has always been a captivating and engaging experience.
Having been in Controlling and Operations roles for the majority of my career I found that my Sales and Marketing peers were not as motivated as I was to leverage financial insights or provide client insights. This is when I discovered that taking a gamified approach did actually provide the necessary engagement to have my peers proactively share pipeline, execution and client insights.
