Job Description: MC VP COM
Position Role
The role of this position is the implementation and management of the AIESEC Brand in Norway, and for
our image in our stakeholder group in accordance to our Global Brand. The responsibilities also include
developing and implementing public relations strategies towards generating awareness of AIESEC in the
external environment.
Responsibilities
External communication
- Develop and research on new opportunities to reach our external stakeholders
- Overall responsible for creating different materials for external communication (e.g. reports,
press-releases, articles)
- Overall responsible for media coverage of national events and supporting LCs in Local media
coverage
- Overall responsible for maintaining and developing Media Partnerships on MC level (focus on
students and business media –press, TV, radio, online media)
- Overall responsible for monitoring media appearances
Branding
- Develop and package AIESEC products that will be relevant for our stakeholders
- Develop an education process for understanding the AIESEC brand and how it should be used
- Educate LCPs /LC VPs on the AIESEC Brand and Identity information they need
- Overall responsible for developing and implementing strategies for the Brand audit towards
students and partners
National web platforms management
- Ensure quality and effectiveness of webpage (can be chosen a strategy of having NST)
- Maintain website content according to the projects
2. - Constant evaluation of the website efficiency in bringing visibility and attracting students and
companies
- Develop and continuously update the AIESEC Norway’s online channels and social media
channels
Communication strategy
- Develop and implement a national communication strategy and plan that will support
organizational goals and ensure AIESEC brand visibility among the external stakeholders
- Help the LCs in implementing a similar plan
Measures of Success
- Number of application forms for OGX and TMP/TLP recruitment
- Number of relevant visitors on the webpage
- Number of external appearances on other channels
- Number of written/online media appearances.
- Number of specific measurement of each SM channel (friends, followers, interactions, etc.)
