I created The Bright Design Challenge in 1999 as a marketing project for the metal finishing industry. Since then it has evolved to become the premier marketing event for the surface finishing industry. The BDC is now part of the curriculum at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, MI and attracts corporate sponsors such as Ford and Harley-Davidson Motor Co.
