Hi There! I'm Mikel. It's pronounced the same as the traditional Michael and it's not ethnic....just simple. My dad's name is Michael and he wanted his boy named after him (but not a jr.) so I ended up with a unique spelling that's been hacked up pretty good most of my life by people that don't know me. Don't worry, it doesn't bother me at all. In fact, it's sometimes pretty funny to watch how people's faces contort when they see it on a name tag and are trying to figure out what to call me!
