In this new model, the IT organization becomes a cloud service provider for the business, achieving the benefits of cloud computing without sacrificing security or control. Users experience unprecedented responsiveness and agility, and IT management can reduce costs through increased consolidation, task automation, and simplified administration.
VMware vCloud Director enables IT organizations to deliver resources to internal organizations as virtual datacenters. By logically pooling compute, storage, and networking capacity into virtual datacenters, IT organizations can manage resources more efficiently with complete abstraction between consumption and delivery of IT services.

In this new model, the IT organization becomes a cloud service provider for the business, achieving the benefits of cloud computing without sacrificing security or control. Users experience unprecedented responsiveness and agility, and IT management can reduce costs through increased consolidation, task automation, and simplified administration.VMware vCloud Director enables IT organizations to deliver resources to internal organizations as virtual datacenters. By logically pooling compute, storage, and networking capacity into virtual datacenters, IT organizations can manage resources more efficiently with complete abstraction between consumption and delivery of IT services.
(This deck is intended to follow both the corporate overview and the private cloud overview.)You’ve heard our cloud pitch, and seen our vision of the hybrid cloud, what we believe is the future of IT. The hybrid cloud is a blend of using compatible public and private clouds across both infrastructure, platform, and software as a service. This model recognizes that there is no one model for IT as a service, and that customers will customizeYou’ve also learned that the most pragmatic first step is building a private cloud. In this presentation we will discuss enabling technology that sits behind both the public and private cloud components, though we’ll focus on discussing the private cloud components as this is the part you’ll be managing.
Enables private and hybrid cloudsGives customers the ability to build secure private clouds that dramatically increase datacenter efficiency and business agility. Coupled with VMware vSphere, the foundation for cloud computing architectures, VMware vCloud Director the way IT delivers and manages infrastructure services and the way users access and consume these services by pooling virtual infrastructure resources and delivering them to users as a catalog-based serviceOptimize not only how IT is delivered and managed, but also how it is consumed
Now that we’ve answered the 2 important questions (the who and the why) let’s talk in detail about what exactly you’d be working with. I’m not one to sign up for something without knowing all the components. First things first, our data center is fully managed SaS 70 type 2 compliant which means we offer certified security, reliability and redundancy. That means we’ve got the safeguards in place in case of any failure in physical equipment. We’re located in Denver, so we’re safe from Hurricanes and Earthquakes. Finally the server is comprised of best of breed components such as Cisco Switches, Juniper Routers – actually our President loves their routers, we’ve had the one in the office running 365 days, 24/7 and it’s never had to be rebooted in the past 4 years. It’s pretty impressive, anyways, Netapp Storage, Cummins diesel generators that are tested every week and many others. We’ve looked at the physical, let’s look at the software.

Select the properties of the vm:The nameVM configuration detailsNetworkingClick finish
vApp will spin up. Click on OPEN when it is done loaded and says “Stopped”
This is a view of all the VMs
Both packages receive the same services: Vmware Licensing, NetApp Storage at 7200 rpm and at 15,000rpm, same type of processor, Internet access and the same additional options. The difference lies in the amount of each. So package A has 32GB of licensing, 1TB of storage with each storage type, 1 Dual quad core 2.4 GHz vCPU, and 50Mbps of Internet Access Package B has 64GM of Vmware Licensing, 2TB of Storage with each type, 2 Dual quad cores and 100Mbps of Internet Access. Additional options not calculated into this price is: Microsoft Server 2008 R2Windows Server CAL’sMicrosoft TS/RDS CAL’sLinuxAt this point you know the investment, and are now asking… what’s in it for me?
To better show you what you’re going to get from this program, we’ll use an example. Assume that we’ll breakdown the bulk packages into cookie cutter sizes, they won’t always be this way, but for sake of the example we’ve created a hypothetical situation so for Package A let’s say we have 8 clients, meaning each VM will receive 4GB’s of RAM, 5Mbps of Bandwidth because you’ll probably want to dedicate 10Mbps to managing your share of the services internally. Package B is similar but with 16 clients at 4GB of RAM per VM, 5 Mbps bandwidth assuming that you’re dedicating 20Mbps to manage the larger number of clients. Here’s how your investment will break out.
So in our example, if you are able to charge current market rates, your investment of $1995 will earn you $9354 in revenue… that’s a Gross Margin of over 78%
Now lets look at package B, you’d be looking at a $3995 buy in and $17658 in sales. That’s $13,663 in simple profit!
The highest level is the white label partner. White label partners purchase discounted bulk quantities of our service and break it down into smaller chunks to sell to the end user. As a white label partner, you’d be responsible for all aspects of the sale, as well as customer service support tiers 1, 2 . MTT will provide the services and tier 3 technical support.A representative from your organization will need to make a trip to Denver in order to take a 1 day training and tour of our facility and equipment. As the slide indicates there is a $1000 onboard fee half due at signing and half on they day of certification from the one day training session. There are 2 packages that MTT offers: $1995 per month or $3995 per month, again we don’t expect you to come out of the corner swinging so we do offer a 4 quarter ramp period
