Apart from blogging on economics and finance, I’ve spent almost a decade as an analyst, specifically within the areas of asset allocation, trends of the major world economies and the causes and consequences of the Great Recession. As an employee at Fidelity Investments in Boston, I served on the Allocation Asset Research Team; the Market Analysis, Research and Education group; and the human resources and benefits division, among other company departments. I have been a Chartered Financial Analyst since 2009 and graduated from Brown University with a degree in business economics in 2005. I’m happiest when tacking through Boston Harbor or catching the Sox on a sunny day.
