Leaderships Styles By ICT’s Girls
Leaderships Styles ... managers should work for their people, ... and not the reverse. ... If you think that your people are responsible and that your job is to be responsive, you really work hard to provide them with the resources and working conditions they need to accomplish the goals you've agreed to. You realize your job is not to do all the work yourself or sit back and wait to 'catch them doing something wrong', but to roll up your sleeves and help them win. If they win, you win. This is from Page 18 of "Leadership and the One-Minute Manager", by Kenneth Blanchard, Patricia Zigarmi, and Drea Zigarmi

Components of Leadership Power Understanding Inspirite Leaderships Styles Components
It’s the capacity to influence on the beliefs or actions of other people A leader with conviction power have to guide his team members towards goals that will be difficult to reach. Power Power
Understanding A good leader will recognized the merits of her team members and will motivate them in order to be more conscious about the nature and intensity of your role to reach the objectives.
Inspirer This component talks about the weird capacity to inspire followers to apply all yours aptitudes for a project. The leaders can inspire loyalty, devotion and an intense wish by reach the solicited goals.
Leadership Styles Leadership style is the manner and approach of providing direction, implementing plans, and motivating people.
The three styles of leadership There are normally three styles of leadership: (U.S. Army Handbook , 1973 ) Authoritarian or autocratic Participative or democratic Delegative or Free Reign
Authoritarian (autocratic) This style is used when the leader tells her employees what he wants done and how he wants it done, without getting the advice of her followers. Some of the appropriate conditions to use it is when you have all the information to solve the problem, you are short on time, and your employees are well motivated.
Participative (democratic) This type of style involves the leader including one or more employees in on the decision making process (determining what to do and how to do it). However, the leader maintains the final decision making authority. Using this style is not a sign of weakness, rather it is a sign of strength that your employees will respect.
Delegative (free reign) In this style, the leader allows the employees to make the decision. However, the leader is still responsible for the decisions that are made. This is used when employees are able to analyze the situation and determine what needs to be done and how to do it. You cannot do everything! You must set priorities and delegate certain tasks
Although good leaders use all three styles, with one of them normally dominate, bad leaders tend to stick with one style.
Forces A good leader uses all three styles, depending on what forces are involved between the followers, the leader, and the situation. Using all three: Telling your employees that a procedure is not working correctly and a new one must be established (authoritarian). Asking for their ideas and input on creating a new procedure (participative). Delegating tasks in order to implement the new procedure (delegative).
