- 2. SO WHY DO WE BRUSH OUR TEETH??? See this guy here? He has plaque on him! We get plaque when we don’t brush our teeth after eating! Plaque causes tooth decay and cavities which can be very painful! Brushing keeps our teeth nice & white and our breath fresh!
- 3. HOW DO WE BRUSH OUR TEETH??? There’s just 5 easy steps!! 1. Use a pea sized amount of toothpaste 2. Hold your brush at an angle 3. Brush all your teeth from the front to the back, the top and the bottom! Don’t forget your tongue!! 4. Brush back and forth, round and round. 5. Spit out the toothpaste and rinse!
- 4. SO WHEN SHOULD WE BRUSH OUR TEETH??? We need to brush our teeth three times a day!! • After breakfast in the morning • After lunch at school • After dinner, before you go to bed! Brushing after we eat keeps our teeth healthy and our smiles looking good!
- 5. !!!EXTRA 4 EXPERTS!!! Brushing your teeth isn’t the only step in keeping your teeth clean!! There are two other steps as well! These are FLOSSING and RINSING with mouth wash! Flossing gets all the food out from between your teeth and Rinsing with mouthwash kills bacteria and keeps your breath fresh! Ask your mum and Dad to help you with these!
- 6. TIME TO BRUSH!!! Now that you are all experts on brushing your teeth… You will all get a cool toothbrush so you can brush your teeth after lunch at school!! Remember all we’ve taught you and have fun! Keep your teeth clean and your smiles bright!
