DATA BACKUP SOLUTIONS
TAPE BACKUP
Magnetic tape is used for storing duplicate copies of hard disk
files. A tape-based backup strategy requires the IT team to
physically transport and store backup tapes in an off-site location.
DISK BACKUP
A hard disk based storage device is used to store and
retrieve backup data. This solution offers faster backup and
restores than tape, but it is stored in a data center onsite. Backups
will be affected if disaster strikes your office or data center.
CLOUD BACKUP
Backups are stored in an offsite repository owned by a cloud
provider and accessed remotely through the network whenever a
recovery is needed. This is the most convenient, but also most
expensive option for data backup.
