INTERNET PROTOCOLS
INTRODUCTION An Internet protocol is a set of standards or rules for exchanging information between computer system in a network. It is highly essential because internet is not made up of any single type of computer system.
THE COMMONLY USED INTERNET PROTOCOLS ARE, 1. Transmission control protocol/Internet protocol(TCP/IP) 2. File Transfer protocol(FTP) 3. Hyper text Transfer Protocol(HTTP) 4. Telnet 5. Gopher 6. Wide Area Information Service (WAIS)
CONCLUSION HTTP protocol is most commonly used protocol in internet. Through HTTP protocol we can transfer files , data base , documents any other likes mp3,mp4 etc..
