   Among the Dead Sea Scrolls, a document
dubbed the "War Scroll" tclls of a future
battle between the sons of "light" and the
sons of "darkness." 11 is predicted to be an
end-time war that will be won by the ap-
pearance of Israel 's Messiah. Just how close
are we to those grim days? Christians have
an intrinsic sense that global crisis carulOt

logical concepts which we feel are neces-
