All Blacks - Wikipedia, the free

The origins of the haka are deeply rooted in the mists of time. It is
a history rich in folklore and legend that reflects Maori heritage.
New Zealand has grown up immersed in haka since first
encounters between Maori and early European explorers,
missionaries and settlers.
While recent tradition suggests the haka was the domain of men
exclusively, legends power of female sexuality.
According to legend, the haka was derived from the sun of God,
Ra. He had two wives: Hine-raumati, who was the essence of
summer, and Hine-takurua, the essence of winter.
Ra and Hine-raumati lay together and gave birth to a son called
Tanerore. On hot summer days it is possible to see the light
dancing. Legend has it that this is Hine-raumati's son, Tanerore,
performing for his mother an the wiriwiri or trembling shimmer is
today reflected in the trembling of the haka performer's hands.
Maori myths and legends are peppered with stories about the
haka.
The All blacks have
represented New Zealand for
over 30 years playing in rain,
sun, fog winning losing &
have always been supported
by us kiwi fans.
The two first five eighths
for the All Blacks, Carlos
Spencer & Grant Fox,
both had excellent goal
kicking potential until both
went overseas to play.
They got offered more
money than they got
playing for the All Blacks.

Rugby is New Zealand's
National sport because
It is the best sport that NZ is
good at even though more
People play soccer or touch
we are still best at rugby.
The game rugby was invented by the
famous William Webb Ellis. Rugby was
named after a place called rugby town
William Ellis said the game was going to
be about running passing dodging &
swerving in & out of other players. Now
rugby is New Zealand's national sport & it
is also played in almost every country
around the world. William Ellis invented
rugby when he picked up the ball in a
soccer match & ran down the field with it.
People say that Joe Rokocoko
is the best winger in the wo rld
he has scored over 38 tries
witch is over 190 points & he
can run fast than you can say
rugby so I think Joe Rokocoko
is the best winger in the world &
I think lots of people would
agree with me.

Nobody knows if in ten years rugby will still be
New Zealand's national sport until the time
comes, so until 2018, rugby stays as our best
sport
