Muhammad Ali was a legendary boxer who was nicknamed "The Greatest." He was a three-time heavyweight champion and defeated every other titled boxer of his generation. Ali joined the Nation of Islam in 1964 and later converted to Sunni Islam, and he opposed the Vietnam War, which resulted in the loss of his boxing license until the Supreme Court restored it in 1971.
