Merlec MPYANA is a PhD Candidature and Researcher from iBELab at Korea University, Seoul, South Korea. He is also affiliated to Mobile Grid and Cloud Computing Lab (HUFS) as Visiting Researcher and Project Team Member. His research interests lie in the fields of Parallel & Distributed Computing Systems (PDCS), Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLT) and Distributed Applications (Dapps), and Secure Internet Architecture (SCION); more specifically: Cloud Computing, Fog/Edge Computing, Mobile Ad hoc Cloud Computing, - FinTech & Blockchain-based Technologies (i.e. Hyperledger, Bitcoin, Ethereum, IBM Bluemix, MS Azure BaaS and Smart Contracts), IoT, AI, and Business Intelligence (BI).
