What it Is? Tamales are basically a typical Mexican food made during the holidays especially during Christmas.  Tamales can be made in very different flavors or with different types of food They can be great with pork meat, with chicken meat, or even sweet tamales.
First Steps  First a person needs to have all the ingredients such as: -a large capacity steamer, measuring cup, tongs, measuring spoons, draining spoon, and a spreader. -Pork roast (6 to 8 lbs.) Be smart, find it on sale! Corn Oil Large fryer size chicken (about 5 lbs.) Salt Black pepper Garlic Powder (buy large size) Ground Comino (cumin) (large size) Cumin Seeds  Gebhardt’sChili Powder Paprika 4 lb bag Corn Masa (We like MaSeCa) Real Corn Shucks
Preparation Cook the meat. Shredded in small pieces. Cook all the ingredients together as the chili preparation. Combine all the flour ingredients together and mix it.  Get a leave and fill out with flour and meat.  When everything is all done put all the tamales in a big casserole and cook it in low flames for about 1hr.  Check to see in the tamales are good every 15 minutes.
Best time to eat tamales The best time to eat tamales is with the family. Christmas Eve is the best occasion to eat tamales.  People can eat tamales and gather along and enjoy!
