In the ten seasons that the Wild have been a professional hockey team in the State of Hockey, 9 Minnesotans have been listed on the
roster. This number was just bumped from 8 when Matt Cullen, a Virginia, MN native, signed with the Wild on July 1, 2010. Below is a
list of each native Minnesotan player that has played with the Minnesota Wild over the last decade.
Matt Cullen from Virginia, MN attended St. Cloud State (1995-1997) and is expected to bring his hard working attitude and smart
play as a center to the team for the next 3 seasons.
Nate Prosser a native of Elk River, MN attended Colorado College for 4 seasons. Drafted in 2010 and played his first game with the
Wild on 4/5/10. He has great potential and may see some ice time this year.
Sean Hill from Duluth, MN played at U of WI-Madison for 3 years and was picked up during the 2007-2008 season.
Wyatt Smith hails from Thief River Falls, MN and attended the U of MN for 4 years. He played for the Wild during the ‘06-‘07
season.
Mark Parrish from Bloomington, MN attended St. Cloud State for 2 years before joining the WHL. Parrish played for the Wild from
2006-2008.
Erik Westrum a native of Minneapolis, MN played for the U of MN for 4 years. Erik suited up during the ‘05-‘06 season.
Darby Hendrickson from Richfield, MN attended the U of MN for 2 seasons. He played 3+ seasons with the Wild from 2000-Feb
2004. Darby is currently a Wild commentator for FSNorth.
Jeff Nielsen hails from Grand Rapids, MN and played at the U of MN for 4 years. Nielsen played one year with the Wild during the
’00-’01 season.
Brian Bonin from St. Paul, MN attended the U of MN for 4 years. Was picked up in ‘00-‘01 and played 7 games in a Wild uniform.

The time has finally arrived for the twelve days of fun at the
annual Minnesota State Fair! The Minnesota State Fair kicks
off on Thursday, August 26 and runs through Labor Day
(September 6). The Minnesota Wild is excited to once again
have a booth out at the Fair! Fans may visit us in the Fan Central building located near the corner of Dan Patch Avenue and
Underwood Street. The Wild booth includes the latest Wild merchandise, an interactive hockey game and player and Nordy
appearances. Stop by to rest your feet, watch Wild highlights and chat with Minnesota Wild representatives.
New this year, the Wild will be introducing a Pick-3 State Fair ticket plan which offers fans the opportunity to purchase three games
from a list of 12 dates before they go on sale on September 11. Lower level and Treasure Island Resort & Casino Club Level seats only.
Plans start at only $244.The Wild will also be unveiling the Top 10 Moments in Wild history at our State Fair booth on Sunday, August
29. The top two games as voted by our fans will be featured in a commemorative Year X DVD, a must-have for all Wild fans. The Year
X DVD is only $19 and is available exclusively at all Hockey Lodge locations and at the State Fair booth beginning August 29. All
