It is a great pleasure to welcome everyone to the 2011 Mobilize.org Millennial
Leadership Summit.
New York City is the place to be for the leaders and entrepreneurs who are thinking big,
working hard, and realizing their greatest ambitions. If you can make it here, you can make it
anywhere, and there is no better place than New York for someone to get his or her ideas off the
ground. That is why we are proud to welcome Mobilize.org, its summit participants, and its past
award winners as they discuss their ongoing efforts to drive civic activism and create lasting
change in their communities. Together, we look forward to everything they will accomplish as
we work toward making our ever-more interconnected world healthier and more sustainable.
