3. Paper
Usage
On average, the paper usage at the Metro Center @ Hudson is as follows:
10 cases (100 reams) of white 100% recycled paper per month
1 case (10 reams) of colored paper per month
Recycling
Only Paper that goes through the shredders is recycled
There are two shredders at Metro Center
The shredders are currently not available to students
Estimated 10% of all the paper is recycled
Estimated 90% of all the paper is disposed with the garbage
It is unclear what the cleaning service which removes the paper from the premise does with the paper
Printers/Copiers
Printers
There are a total of 53 printers at the Hudson Center broken down as follows:
46 black/white printers
4 color printers
3 color photo printers
Copiers
There are a total of 2 black ink copiers
Ink/Toner Cartridges
The printers toner cartridges are returned and the ink cartridges are thrown away with the normal garbage
The copy machines use 2 toner cartridges for both machines every 3 months
The printers use a total of 15 toner cartridges per month that are recycled
The printers use 5 ink cartridges per month that are thrown away with the normal garbage

4. Recycling
Currently the only recycle bins available to students are located on the 5th floor by the vending machines
There is one recycling bin for plastic and one for paper for students

Cleaning Supplies
The cleaning supplies are provided by the building’s cleaning service
The cost of cleaning supplies/service is included in the lease with the building
Bathroom Supplies
The bathroom supplies are provided by the building’s cleaning service

Through our Audit of the Metro Center we learned the following in regards to the computers/electronics:
