Leadership Excellence and Development (LEAD) on Saturday launched its operation in
Bangladesh with a vision to deliver international standard training, mentorship and develop
capacity to unveil leadership as well as entrepreneurship among the youth of Bangladesh.
The meet the press programme held at a city restaurant to help achieve the relevant sustainable
development goals (SDGs) in Bangladesh with efficiency.
President of LEAD Ashfaq Zaman, Secretary General of Industry Skills Council Dr Rubina
Hossain, Director of Rahim Afrooz group Niaz Rahim, Advisor of Rahim Afrooz group
Mahbubur Rahman, CEO of LEAD Yahia Amin, Regional Development Manager of Edexcel
Abdullah Al Mamun, among others, were present in the ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion Niaz Rahim said as the education quality and the system of
Bangladesh lag behind in the development of the visionary leaders, the LEAD will unveil the
required skill and knowledge to the trainees to help fit them to the industry globally. Beyond
academic achievement there are requirements of training to help develop skilled human
resources in the industry with global standards and achieve sustainable benchmarks of the
education for excellence where LEAD will play its role in such capacity development in the
future.
LEAD is a social development organization endorsed by Pearson UK and endorsed by the United
Nations Global Compact the only Bangladeshi startup organization will take part in the ‘UN GC
LEADERS Summit 2016’ representing Bangladesh.
It aim to contribute the economy by grooming entrepreneurs, visionary leaders as well as
pioneers accepted at the 11th
World Economic Forum 2015 will provide extensive training on
effective communication, visionary leadership, time management, team development,
entrepreneurship and innovation management through igniting the right knowledge and skill base
for the trainees and will provide full free scholarships to the promising potentials around the
country to help make true their dreams and build the economic backbone of the country with
global excellence.
