1. Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; This Ayah was told to me by my 7 year old sister ( fatima) who said that this ayah Talks about thankless people.

2. وَاشْكُرُواْ لِلّٰهِ By Momina

3. What is شْكُرُ Shukr means to thank Allah for all that allah has given us. For that first we have to realize what allah has given us. In Arabic the skukr has several meanings it cannot be described as just thank you. Shukr in arabic means the following things -to be grateful -to praise someone -to acknowledge something that someone has done for you.

4. This requires ‘thinking‘. And we are not used to thinking. Allah wants humans to gain knowledge(Knowledge of islam) and then ponder on it. Thankfulness can be shown in thoughts, speech, and actions.

5. So what is وَاشْكُرُواْ لِلّٰهِ This can be divided into 5 different things. Showing humility to Allah Loving someone who gives you things Acknowledging him of his benefits. Not using his benefits in the proper way Obey him.

6. Thankfullness in Thought To be always thinking about what allah has given and in return do not bring any bad ideas or negative thoughts in out minds such as : -when we think “AHH, why is this always happens to ME” -to have a thankful heart -not to keep bad feelings about others in our hearts.

7. Thankfullness in Speech To keep saying adhkar(zikr) To always say good things to other Not to use indecent language

8. Thoughtfullness in Action To do good deeds showing ones gratitiude to Allah Like performing Salah Its an action in which we take time out from our daily chores and bow before the ALMighty showing our gratitude Spending in allahs way ( fee sabeelillah) One should spend in allahs way keeping in mind that all that He has has been given to him is from allah

9. How was I grateful to Allah? I pray fives times a day. Each time remembering Allah and thanking Him for all that he has given me. There was this one time when I was really angry at my sister and she did something that I really didn’t want to forgive… but then I remembered how I have done bad things that Allah wouldn’t like but he still forgives me .. So why couldn’t I do that for my sister…? I like helping people and every time I help someone I prey to Allah thanking him that I'm not in the same problem as the other person.
