Where we have (Gerardo with 15 years experience as computer engineer), myself, Nikola the 1, is our product designer awarded twice by RedDot and Nikola the 2 is a former CTO of a research institute and brings huge experience in building electronics systems.
And we have the privilege of being guided by an international team of advisors.
We have ongoing negotiations with the Energy provider of Portugal, with 3 telecom companies (Deutsch Telecom Makedonia, A1 is telecom Austria, Telenor Hungary) and with Apple resellers shops. And we have an initial traction from our early adopters

Points 3 and 8 may requires funds that you do not necessarily have at the beginning.
This is work in progress. The more we talk with potential partners the more we understand the market.
We did talk with Telecom companies, Apple resellers, consumer goods distributors, Energy companies (Energia De Portugal) and finally with Apple itself.
During development, we learned our COGS, which influence our initial price.
Based on the sales channel we use, our net margin goes from 56% to 26%.
Use the lean approach from the beginning.
I.e. test the market with just a renderings and not wait to build a real product.
Use the same approach as you would do for a software solution.
Going to much into branding and business plan without talking to potential customers/partners
