Methane from cows as they flatulate Carbon dioxide and nitrous oxides from car exhaust Carbon dioxide and nitrous oxides from power stations that burn fossil fuels Trees take in carbon dioxide so cutting down trees (deforestation) means there is more in the atmosphere

8. What will happen to the global temperatures if the USA, Europe and Japan continue to emit high levels of greenhouse gases? AND IF CHINA & INDIA EMIT EVER MORE GREENHOUSE GASES AS THEY STRIVE FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

9. And then there’s Brazil, Mexico and a whole host of other countries beginning to industrialise and therefore discharge ever increasing quantities of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. But is it right to force such countries to stop? After all they would say we have been pumping such gases into the atmosphere for years and that we should not deny them the opportunity to develop now. The entire world needs to cooperate and find ways of cutting the gases without stopping development for poor countries!
