2. THURSDAY, 14TH JANUARY 2016
After warm-up activities for pupils and visiting school for teachers, the meeting
officially started with the welcome speeches of the headmistress Mrs Carla Barbi,
the Councilor for Culture of the Municipality of San Giorgio Mrs Sara Yahia and
the Italian coordinator Mrs Maria Rosaria Grasso. Then the main coordinator
project Mrs. Ayla Savasci’s speech officially opened our meeting.
MEETING
3. Than pupils presented videos about their schools and explained the meaning
of of the Project Logos which were previously developed and selected in
each school
4. FRIDAY, 15TH JANUARY 2016
The pupils were divided in six transnational groups and attended a workshop on
Internet Ethics
In the mean time the Italian coordinator Mrs Maria Rosaria Grasso explained to the partners
how to use eTwinning Platform and upload different kind of materials on Twin Space
Then we selected the official logo for our project.

5. In the afternoon we wisited the romantic city of Romeo and Juliet: Verona
6. SATURDAY, 16TH JANUARY 2016
In the morning pupils and teachers had a guided cultural visit of Sabbioneta.
In the afternoon we had a guided cultural visit of Mantova for teachers and
students.
Big thanks to the UNESCO Office of Mantua, they
provided us the guides and the transportation for these trip.
7. SUNDAY, 17TH JANUARY 2016
Teachers visited Venezia. Thanks to the sunny weather our partners could
enjoy the beauty of the city: walk down the Grand Canal, wiew the beautiful
back streets and canals, San Mark’s Square, the Doge’s Palace and the Bridge
of Sighs.
Pupils spent the day with their host families visiting different cultural sites:
Bardolino or Sirmione on Lake of Garda, Venezia…
8. MONDAY, 18TH JANUARY 2016
After, the 6 transnational groups of
pupils showed their presentations
about Internet Ethics to teachers
and mates. They did a GREAT
JOB!!!
Pupils started the meeting realizing candies
boxes thanks to the help of some Italian
mates: Marina Montorio, Federica Cenzato,
Gresa Halili and Sofia Carli
9. FAREWELL PARTY
Nice evening with all the wonderful host families: thanks to their warm and
sincere hospitality!
During the party Certificates of Attendance were given.

11. The host school distribuited, at the end of the meeting, two tipes of
questionnaires, one for the 15 teachers and one for the 30 students guest
partecipants.
The aim was to obtain information about the partecipants satisfaction, the
fulfillment of the objectives of the event and to collect suggestions for future
improvements.
In the scale of the evaluation form
1 represents the least positive value (Dissatisfied)
4 the most positive (Very Satisfied).

16. Part V (Knowledge Development and Professional Value)
Please describe the main contributions of the event for your professional and personal development
According to the teachers the meeting boosted a sense of collaboration among partners, gave them a chance to exchange
ideas, improve English language and it was a great opportunity to know Italian educational system and the history of the place.
Two teachers found very interesting the Feng Shui classes.
Four teachers didn’t fill this part.
Please describe the main contributions of the event for the development of the Project: FLwICT
According to teachers, thanks to the meeting, students have grasped the importance of the aim of the project and have
discovered that they are able to use English language to communicate; they improved their English language and their social
attitude; the project work became more “real” for them.
Teachers had a chance to evaluate what done so far, to understand better the essence of the project, to know more about ICT
ethics and realize how important it is. Both, teachers and students, had cultural benefits by discovering new languages and
new ways of teaching.
Six teachers didn’t fill this part.
17. Part VI (Suggestions) - Give us your suggestions for improvements in future events
Some teachers said that everything was ok and thanked the coordinator for the effort and the warm hospitality.
Some suggestions from teachers were: to pair pupils according to their age; to do more activities connected with the
development of teachers; to take along more students and teachers; to have the program designed in relation to the
subject matter of the project; to pay lunches in advance not to cause problems to the organizer; to state in advance,
before arrival, if one partner will not take part in certain event or want to be accommodated in a different way; all
partners should contribute in equal terms and participate actively in the meeting; main coordinator should be
responsible for integrating teachers and be more present in running and monitoring the meeting and should also
take part in all the event scheduled.
Five teachers didn’t fill this part.
18. To sum up, we can say that generaly speaking the agenda was developed in a
proper way and all teacher participants were pleased with the warm hospitality
and the general organization of the meeting. This consideration is based on
the following summarized results: 98 % of the values are “very satisfied or
satisfied ”, and only 2 % “little satisfied”.

Give us your opinion about the meeting in Italy (E.g.culture, type of activities, friendship...)
Generally speaking students’ opinions are very good. They enjoyed Italy, had fun, made new friends, learned
something about different language and culture, and enjoyed the trips and the great welcoming.
Two students didn’t fill this part.
Part V (Suggestions) - Give us your suggestions for improvements in future events
Generally speaking students suggested to increase the number of activities, to improve pairing (same age), to have
mates who speak better English.
Seven students didn’t fill this part.
23. To sum up, we can say that in general the students participants enjoyed the
meeting especially the great welcoming and the trips.
Summarizing the results: 94% were “very satisfied or satisfied”, 6 % “little
satisfied or not satisfied”. With this information we conclude that students
and teachers shared the same opinion regarding the meeting . In general all
participants were pleased with the Short term exchanged group of pupils in
Italy.
