running the newspaper for the town. Then Smallpox
spread through the town. As a result, there was a
debate about whether you should give someone a
vaccine when they are not sick or wait to give them
regular medicine when they are sick. James, Ben’s

Pennsylvania has a warm place in my heart. Here
is why:
Pennsylvania is a free state. We can not litter and
we have to keep Pennsylvania clean. We also have
to keep PA safe. I love living in a state like
Pennsylvania.
9. PENNSYLVANIA
What makes Pennsylvania history so special to me:
Pennsylvania is important because many cool
inventions come from PA. Pennsylvania was one
of the 13 colonies of the United States. Pennsylvania
history has also produced many great foods which I
love to eat. We have a lot of history within our state
which makes it special to me.
