2. Hills
We are thinking about using hills within our trailer to let our actor walk across throughout a
particular scene. From research I have gathered, I have found that hills look scary because you
almost think about the height and that you call fall. We do not yet know how we are going to
use the hill and in what way but will figure this our along the way.

3. Swings
We might use a swing within our trailer and film our character swinging on the swing
at night time but with her back to us so her identity remains hidden at all times. We
think this will be effective because in the dark you also wont be able to see what she
looks like and this will mean her identity remains hidden and the viewer will wonder
what she is doing out at night on her own in the dark. Also this will be effective
because we could add the noise of a rusty hinge when she is swinging and this can be
used to build up tension.

4. Graveyards
We have been thinking about filming our trailer, parts of it, within a graveyard because
this links in excellently with the horror genre. A graveyard makes people think of dead
people and bodies and the possessed sometimes in horror movies. Within our storyline
we are having the girl of killed her parents and this is why she is in the graveyard sitting
at her parents graves. We think that we would film this scene at night time because this
will make the graveyard more creepier.

5. White dress
We have decided that our actor will
be wearing a white dress because
this has connotations of purity and
angelic people. White symbolises
clean and our actor is far from pure
and angelic because she has killed
her parents. Also we will make the
dress moody or put fake blood on
the dress and this could be showing
the blood that’s from her dead
parents when she killed them
perhaps. Also because our filming
maybe done at night, this will allow
the dress to stand out.

6. Bare feet
We have also decided that our actor wont be wearing any
shoes because this would show that she has parents or a carer
who is looking after her and within our storyline she hasn’t.
Instead we are going to film her with no shoes on because this
means she isn’t being looked after and she could have cuts and
bruises on her feet from walking around the graveyard.
