Why You Need to Stay on Top of Things
Staying on top of things is probably one of the hardest things for any person to do.
But it's also the best thing you can do to ensure your success in college. This is especially true for nontraditional students.
Enable You to Find Time to Study
Finding adequate time to study is absolutely necessary in order to succeed in college.
You need to stay on top of things so you can clear room in your schedule that you can then redirect towards your studies.
Help You Take Better Care Of Your Family
You need to stay on top of things so that you can take better care of your family and in less time than you used to.
Ease Stress
We all get stressed out... it's human nature. Think about it, what are some of the things that we get stressed out because of?
*The house is dirty
*The kids need attention
*Your spouse wants attention
*Laundry is piling up
*You don't know what you're fixing for dinner tonight
*You're too tired to study after the kids go to bed
Staying on top of things can help ease all of these because... simply put... you learn to plan better and when you plan better things get done that didn't used to get done.
All But Eradicate Guilt
What are some of the things we feel guilty about? Yep, pretty much the same things in the above "stress" list. The same things that cause us to get stressed out cause us to feel guilty.
But, by staying on top of things your house can be cleaner, you can spend more quality time with those you love, you're more prepared for the tasks of daily life, and you find time to study.
All it takes is learning good home time management.
