This paper analyzes the similarities that transform from Lean Service to Green
Service and provide the understanding why we need to transform to Green Service to
achieve socio-environmental sustainability.

NO! Based on Bergmiller & McRight (2009)
argued Lean approach is not enough to
minimize negative impacts to the environment.
Based on the argument of Bergmiller & McRight, Dües et al. (2013) determined that the
integration of Lean and Green has potential areas to implement Green practices on
existing business and service practices. By combining Lean and Green Paradigms have
overlap criteria’s where need to consider it.
