DistrictAdministration had sought help from TataSteel and Tata Main Hospital for thetreatment of nineteen patients who wereseriously injured. Staff at Tata Main Hospitaltook up firm steps and treated these patientsdiligently.

Tata Steel & JUSCO Roll out Nukkad NaatakCampaign to Check Dengue andChikungunya.It was observed that vector borne diseases such as Dengue andChikungunya pose a major threat to the denizens of Jamshedpur andsurrounding areas.In the year 2010-11, Jamshedpur faced an epidemic of Dengue.There were 132 confirmed cases of Dengue in Company’s command areaand another 50 cases in Bagan Area. Last year, Jamshedpur also witnessedan outbreak of Chikungunya.
