2. When you are developing your goal
list, you should develop 3 types of
goals
Intermediate goals
Short term goals
Long term goals
3. Intermediate goals are within 30 days.
Intermediate goals will give you confidence
and motivation to accomplish your short and
long term goals.
Sometimes short and long term goals can get
frustrated because they could have longer
and harder steps to accomplish, which means
you will need more confidence and
motivation.
4. Short term goals are within 3, 6, or 9
months.
Long term goals are over 1 year.
Short and long term goals will help you
stretch and grow.
Since short and long term goals require more
skill, knowledge, and persistence, you will
gain more courage and inner strengths as you
take action steps to move forward to
accomplish them.
5. If you feel that your short and long term goals
are too much, you can also develop intermediate
goals within your short and long term goals.
For example, if you want to publish your own
book, but there are too many things that you
need to do, then you can have a separate goal
for each task or step.
By setting smaller goals within a big goal, it will
also help build your self-confidence and self-
motivation.
In life, goals are easier to accomplish when you
break them down to smaller goals.
6. “You must have long range goals
to keep you from being
frustrated by short range
failures.”
Charles Noble
