Vedic Mathematics for Corporate

Vedic Mathematics for Corporates
2. Have you wondered…
Why do competitive exams have
mathematical questions?
Why are Professionals expected to have
fair grip on numbers even though we are living in the
age of calculators and computers?
Why do many people find Math very hard?
5. Why do competitive exams have math questions?
Mathematical Intelligence is one of the eight
types of intelligence a person possesses.
If a person is able to perform mathematical calculations
fast, it proves that he is quick and can think logically and
analytically.
Mathematical intelligence is required for lateral thinking.
6. Why do people find Math hard?
In schools, we are Taught math. But we are not taught to
Think!
As a result, we end up following a conventional
(monotonous) way of doing any calculation.
Due to the increase in use of calculators, people end up
using them even for simple calculations.
Their brains stop Thinking and start working
Mechanically.
7. Why do we need to be good with numbers?
Imagine a situation
where the HR personnel is negotiating salary with a potential
candidate
where the sales or purchase dept are negotiating and are on the
verge of a striking a deal
a Corporate Finance meeting
Can they keep tapping their fingers on calculators in the
above situations?
Will it not affect their efficiency if they are not good with
numbers?
8. What is Our technique?
We make people Think!
The emphasis is on Learning and Discovering, rather
than Teaching.
The element of fun plays a vital role in the process of
learning.
The aim is not just to do calculations faster, but also to
create Productive Thinkers for the society.
9. Our Workshops
Vedic Mathematics
SMART Math – Self-Motivation And Right
Thinking in Math
ICC – Improving Conceptual Clarity
Problem-Solving
10. What is Vedic Mathematics?
India has produced the most number of mathematicians
that the world has ever seen.
The source of Indian Mathematics can be traced back to
the Vedas.
Ancient Indian Mathematicians added their
contributions to the existing knowledge and tried to
make math simpler.
Vedic Mathematics or Ancient Indian Mathematics is a
sum total of all knowledge contributed by various
mathematicians.
11. Why Vedic Math?
Vedic math is so lucid that people of any calibre can learn
with ease.
Unlike usual math which has only ‘one way’ to do
calculations, Vedic Math has ‘many ways’ to do the same
calculation, which gives us multiple options.
People start using these techniques in smarter ways and are
able to do calculations faster than conventional methods.
Thus, whenever the students face any problem, they start
thinking in different ways to get the solution faster.
12. More Reasons for Vedic Math
Improves pattern-observation.
Makes the brain sharp.
Very useful for competitive exams.
Eradicates fear and replaces with love for math.
Facilitates a habit of analytical thinking and approach.

15. Our Workshops - ICC
ICC – a workshop on Improving Conceptual Clarity
Why is this workshop required?
First challenge faced by a student – Lack of Conceptual Clarity.
Unclear concepts since school days makes one weak in math and creates a
fear for the subject.
Most of them are unable to identify this fact and label themselves as weak
in math.
Many mug up the formulae and begin an exam-oriented study rather than
a knowledge-oriented one.
By the time, one gets to higher classes, there is great possibility that he
has forgotten the lessons learnt in school.
16. Our Workshops - ICC
ICC – a workshop on Improving Conceptual Clarity
Our process
We take them back to the basics and provide enough conceptual clarity on
topics like fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions, area, volume,
identities, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, etc.
The students are taught the correlation between topics like algebra &
geometry; geometry & trigonometry, etc; and they area also explained
the history behind the origin of every branch in mathematics.
Once the student understands the basic concepts, he then starts thinking
on his own and solving a problem becomes easier for him.
18. Our Workshops – Problem-Solving
Problem-Solving – the art of solving a problem
Problem-Solving is an art that has to be cultivated in a person.
Problem-Solving is breaking the problem into smaller parts
and pictures for better and easier understanding.
Majority of the students who are unable to clear competitive
exams are weak in problem-solving.
19. How do we conduct our classes?
Residential camps
Non-Residential camps
Courses
Workshops
Awareness programmes
20.
21. Where do we conduct our classes?
Anywhere in India!
Till now, we have conducted sessions mainly for
Educational Institutions, NGOs, Orientation Sessions
for Teachers, Management students, National &
InternationalYouth camps, Spiritual Retreats,
Empowerment Programmes, etc.
Through our programmes, in the last 2 years, we could touch more than
6000 people Mumbai, Cochin, Chennai, Ludhiana, Patiala, Tirunelveli, and
almost in every district in Kerala.
