hill is a 30 minute walk from

5. Narayanhiti Palace Museum

The name of the Palace of the
Kings of Nepal is known as
Hanuman Dhoka. Hanuman
means the monkey God and
relate of Lord Rama and
Dhoka means Door in Nepali.
8. Thamel
Thamel is loud and can be
a little bit hassle. It has
many dining places, cafes,
bars, markets and booth.
The place is very useful for
wandering into the mature
areas of Kathmandu, too.
9. Taleju temple
Taleju temple is a three-
roofed temple that was
designed by King
Mahendra Malla in 1564.
The structure, however, is
common Newari. Taleju,
actually, was a Newari
version of Goddess Durga.
Durga is the most well-
known version of Devi and
one of the primary types of
the Goddess Shakti in the
Hindu pantheon.
10. Budhanilkantha Temple
Budhanilakantha is
located about 8 km north
of Kathmandu at the base
of Shivapuri Hill. It is an
amazing enormous statue
of Lord Vishnu positioned
on the bed of snakes and
floating in the water. It is
also a popular place of
pilgrimage for Hindus.
11. Changu Narayan Temple
Changu Narayan Temple is
located about 18km from
Kathmandu in the
Kathmandu Valley. Changu
is in the Bhaptapur District
and it is the main attraction
in Bhaptapur.
