INTRODUCTION
Wireless communication has started in early 1970’s.In
next four decades , a mobile wireless technology has
evolved from 1G to 5G generations.
various existing generations of mobile wireless
technology in terms of their portals, performance,
advantages and disadvantages.
Mobile terminals includes variety of interfaces like GSM
which are based on circuit switching.
In 5G research is being made on development of World
Wide Wireless Web (WWWW), Dynamic Ad-hoc
Wireless Network(DAWN) and Real Wireless World

TECHNOLOGY
 Mobile communication has become more popular
in last few years due to fast revolution in mobile
technology. This revolution is due to very high
increase in telecoms customers. This revolution is
from 1G- the first generation, 2Gthe second
generation, 3G- the third generation, and then the
4G- the forth generation,5G-the fifth second
generation.
1 1G TECHNOLOGY
 1G emerged in 1980s and completed in early
1990.
 It contains analog system and popularly known as cell
phones.
 It’s Speed was up to 2.4kbps.
 It introduces mobile technologies such as Mobile
Telephone System(MTS),Advanced Mobile Telephone
System(AMTS),Improved Mobile Telephone
System(IMTS) and Push To Talk(PTT)
 It’s Frequency 150MHz.

 Poor Voice Quality
 Poor Battery Life
 Large Phone Size
 No Security
 Limited Capacity
 Poor Handoff Reliability
2G TECHNOLOGY
 2G emerged in late 1980s but it was launched in
Finland in the year 1991.which is based on GSM.
 It uses digital signal for voice transmission
 It’s data speed was up to 64 to 144 kbps.
 It’s use the bandwidth of 30 to 200KHz.
Eg. GPRS ,CDMA and EDGE.
FEATURES INCLUDES
 It enables services such as text messages , picture
messages and MMS(Multi media Message ).
 It provides better Quality and Capacity.
 Next to 2G,2.5G system uses packet switched and
circuit switched domain.
DRAWBACKS OF 2G
 2G requires strong digital signals to help mobile
phones work . If there is no network coverage in any
specific area , digital signal would weak.
 These systems are unable to handle complex data such
as videos.

 3G technology refer to third generation which was
introduced in year 2000s.
 Data Transmission speed increased from 144kbps-

 Expensive fees for 3G Licenses Services
 It was challenge to build the infrastructure for 3G.

 Expensive 3G phones.
 Large Cell Phones.
4G TECHNOLOGY
 High-speed data access
 Combination of wi - fi and wi-max
 Capable of providing 100Mbps-1Gbps speed
 High QoS and high security

Low Cost Per-bit etc.
5G TECHNOLOGY
 5G technology refers to short name of fifth generation
which was started from late 2010s.
 It is highly supportable to WWWW(Wireless World Wide
Web).
 High Speed , high Capacity.
 It provides large broadcasting of data in Gbps.
 Fast data Transmission that of the previous generation.
 Large phone memory , Dialing Speed , Clarity in Audio-
video , more effective , more attractive.
 Multi-Media Newspapers, watch T.V program with the
clarity.

5G DESIGN ARCHITECTURE
• Which is all –IP based model for Wireless and
mobile networks interoperability .The system
consist of user terminal(which has crucial role in
the architecture)and number of independent
radio access technology.
• Their should be a radio interface for each Radio
Access Technology(RAT).It consist first two OSI
level of( Data link and physical level )it define
radio access technology . It uses IP protocol
today communication world. Either IPV6 or IPV4.
WHY IS 5G REQUIED?
• The major difference ,from a user point of
view , between current generation and
expected 5G technique must be something
else than increased throughput.
• Lower out age probability better coverage
• Lower battery consumption .
• Multiple concurrent data transfer paths
• More secure , more application combined
with AI.

• 5G technology presents the high resolution
for sharp . It is more beautiful and successful
of modern era.
• The 5G technology also allows users of mobile
phones, cell phones records for printing
operation.
• The 5Gtechnology for large volume data
distribution in Giga Bit which also maintains
close ties to almost to 65000.

• Real wireless world with no more limitation
with access and zone issues.
• Wearable devices with AI capability.
• Internet protocol version 6(IPV6) where a

according to location and connected network.

5g as the next wireless system and totally it is
safety and secure for public.
• Today’s wired society is going wireless and if it is
has problem 5G is answer.
• 5G technology is going to give tough competition
to computers and laptop.
• It will be available in the market 2020 at
affordable cost with more reliability than
previous mobiles.

INTRODUCTION Wireless communication has started in early 1970’s.In next four decades , a mobile wireless technology has evolved from 1G to 5G generations. various existing generations of mobile wireless technology in terms of their portals, performance, advantages and disadvantages. Mobile terminals includes variety of interfaces like GSM which are based on circuit switching. In 5G research is being made on development of World Wide Wireless Web (WWWW), Dynamic Ad-hoc Wireless Network(DAWN) and Real Wireless World
  • 4. EVOLVATION OF MOBILE TECHNOLOGY  Mobile communication has become more popular in last few years due to fast revolution in mobile technology. This revolution is due to very high increase in telecoms customers. This revolution is from 1G- the first generation, 2Gthe second generation, 3G- the third generation, and then the 4G- the forth generation,5G-the fifth second generation.
  • 5. 1 1G TECHNOLOGY  1G emerged in 1980s and completed in early 1990.  It contains analog system and popularly known as cell phones.  It’s Speed was up to 2.4kbps.  It introduces mobile technologies such as Mobile Telephone System(MTS),Advanced Mobile Telephone System(AMTS),Improved Mobile Telephone System(IMTS) and Push To Talk(PTT)  It’s Frequency 150MHz.

  • 8. 2G TECHNOLOGY  2G emerged in late 1980s but it was launched in Finland in the year 1991.which is based on GSM.  It uses digital signal for voice transmission  It’s data speed was up to 64 to 144 kbps.  It’s use the bandwidth of 30 to 200KHz. Eg. GPRS ,CDMA and EDGE.
  • 9. FEATURES INCLUDES  It enables services such as text messages , picture messages and MMS(Multi media Message ).  It provides better Quality and Capacity.  Next to 2G,2.5G system uses packet switched and circuit switched domain.
  • 10. DRAWBACKS OF 2G  2G requires strong digital signals to help mobile phones work . If there is no network coverage in any specific area , digital signal would weak.  These systems are unable to handle complex data such as videos.

  • 20. 5G DESIGN ARCHITECTURE • Which is all –IP based model for Wireless and mobile networks interoperability .The system consist of user terminal(which has crucial role in the architecture)and number of independent radio access technology. • Their should be a radio interface for each Radio Access Technology(RAT).It consist first two OSI level of( Data link and physical level )it define radio access technology . It uses IP protocol today communication world. Either IPV6 or IPV4.

WHY IS 5G REQUIED? • The major difference ,from a user point of view , between current generation and expected 5G technique must be something else than increased throughput. • Lower out age probability better coverage • Lower battery consumption . • Multiple concurrent data transfer paths • More secure , more application combined with AI.
