individuals with deep eCommerce experience developing high-volume Social Commerce,
Personalization, eSolutions, and Cart solutions.

Senior Software Engineering leadership role responsible for:
• Establishing the vision for an industry leading customer experience, streamlining
processes, building flexible data models, and seamless integration points to drive
innovative and high-value technology solutions
• Evaluating and recommending software and hardware solutions that build an industry
leading technology platform
• Operate in both technical "hands-on" and technology mentoring capacities.
• Technical and thought leadership to implement world changing technology
Scope:

2. You will be working on the forefront of highly visible and strategic customer facing
Ecommerce solutions. As a leading member of cross-functional technology strategy and
development teams, you will be a key influencer, designer and builder of technology
solutions that push the limits of known industry standards and boundaries. The
expectation for your results is high; quite simply we want new and innovative technology
solutions that propel Dell.com into an insurmountable leadership position. You will work
with IT teams, business leaders and senior managers, all driving to this single goal.
We are counting on tapping your ability to understand complex processes, shifting
customer demands, and evolving technologies to build the best site in the world.
You will plan and actively implement large development initiatives involving multiple
cross-functional projects. This will include initiating and driving major changes in existing
architecture and software development techniques/processes. You will also establish new
architectures and processes. In addition, you will be the technical consultant to IT
managers, peers, junior developers and business teams.

BS in Computer Science/Engineering and 12+ years’ experience OR MS in Computer
Science/Engineering and 5 years
• Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in:
oASP.NET for web/ecommerce, high volume, high available, transactional sites
o MVC
o HTM/XML
o C#
o Oracle and SQL Server

3. o .NET source control tools
o Design and programming experience in all the above
• Comprehensive knowledge of systems programming/analysis and ability to assess the
impact of solutions on business/IT functions
• Expert knowledge in analyzing, designing, and developing solutions to highly complex
problems
• Competent to work in all phases of software development
• Thorough knowledge of key business processes, requirements, and critical success factors
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to convey technical information
effectively to both IT and business audiences
• Superior troubleshooting ability and drive for results
• Ability to view problems objectively and develop creative solutions to highly complex,
time sensitive problems
• Experience with web-scale solutions with multi-thousand concurrent
transactions/second
• Experience with Service Oriented architecture
• Demonstrated experienced in not only technical/programming delivery excellence, but
dual ability to develop, communicate, and implement solutions that improve IT support of
future state business needs. Demonstrated ability to articulate and work with the business
and IT executive staff to finalize and execute those solutions
