Scan Jose was a project to digitize the city of San Jose using a fleet of cameras mounted on cars and tricycles. The project faced challenges in coordinating the equipment, dealing with privacy concerns from residents, and ensuring consistent image quality across the varied scanning methods. Lessons were learned about planning, communication, and addressing public concerns when conducting large-scale urban digitization projects.
