Did not observe subject in action
Education and skill-readiness for the future cannot be
set in stone in the dynamic workplace
Important to make youth ready to face any challenge in
the 21st
century
Market demand for particular skills will always exist if
one is good at what one does
Say “Learning is a life-long endeavour”
“Opening up education to the masses is crucial”

“Need to respond to opportunity of our times”
“To enable better decision-making, empower youth with knowledge”
“An active learning eco-system through Creative Commons, MOOCs, OCW”

see fit, at their own pace”

Work must be a means to finding meaning in one’s Life where every Monday is awaited ☺

2. STAKEHOLDER
Vij, our stakeholder is a key person involved in innovation in education and technology with decades of experience in the academia and now
venturing with MOOCs, Open Courseware in all parts of the world especially the developing nations. A self-proclaimed Futurist who believes and
makes things happen in small yet meaningful measures. An optimist with a passion to enable education and awareness to all learners through
technology, Viij is also an advisor and strategist at many educational and philanthropic foundations.
PROBLEM/NEED
Vij needs a better way to overcome or circumvent bottlenecks in delivering knowledge (like e-learning modules) to a global audience of learners
because of the unmet needs and challenges of both the learners and providers. These solutions will enable the learners to successfully use skills and
knowledge gained and learned at school, college or open forums.
INSIGHT
Challenges cited during the interview – infrastructure, content development, delivery, evaluation, tracking effectiveness of such learning media
across diverse audiences- demographics, cultures, life-stage, learning styles all play a crucial role in understanding the needs of the provider, he
receiver and he entire eco-system in itself.
Also the implicit understanding of each individual being unique in their own way and yet to prepare them for the industry/work that is forever
dynamic calls for enabling aspirations of what one is passionate about but also make them market-ready by helping them be the best they can
become making the most of their talents and hard-work.
