Decision you made post-production – for example:
“At Foundation Level, I demonstrated my creativity by applying a post-production effect in
the form of….. to the image on my….. page for my magazine called. The tools used were…”
YOU SHOULD then explain HOW this “made a difference” and whether you adopted a
similarly creative approach to your Advanced Level work OR developed this

2) How did you use it? – For example which tools did you use that allowed you to be
creative and professional with your work
3) When did you become creative – pre, during OR post-production?

• Where can you highlight an example of where you demonstrate Creativity?
• How did this have a POSITIVE impact on the “Final Outcome”?

Using the exemplar answer from last years Question 1 a) (which achieved 23/25)
YOU MUST complete the following:
Use a GREEN pen to identify language from the Question –
for example have they used this in the P of PEA?
Use a RED pen to identify “Range of examples” in the answer – for
example have they used this in the E of PEA?
Extension - YOU COULD identify if they make the comparison between AS
and A2
Use an ORANGE pen to identify the impact on the outcome –
for example what did the effect applied convey? Was it successful?

YOU SHOULD designate no longer than 25-30 minutes answering this question
(dependent on how much planning you want to do for Section B).
1-2 Minutes – BRIEF Plan and Introduction
20 minutes – 3-4 examples from your AS coursework and compare/contrast your
“skills in the use of digital technology” in expressing your creativity to similar
examples from your A2 work.
2-3 minutes – Conclusion/Proof read
