1. Welcome Back to Familiar Faces!
Chapter Nine: Scary Uni Stories

2. Since I forgot and moved all the cousins into the same dorm starting out freshman year and
ended up with eight sims (including the dorm placeholder) in a relatively bad dorm, I didn't take
any pictures of them there. I don't generally have problems playing large groups in a spread out
house with one or two floors but in a tight dorm with extra dormies roaming during the busy first
semester it gets a bit much for me.
First semester is extremely busy for my kids since they all need to pledge the family Greek
house, get new wardrobes, and declare their majors all while getting their 4.0 for the semester.
You'll just have to trust me that they got all that accomplished and we'll begin the real story with
the arrival at Familiar Greek second semester of Freshman year.

3. The university experience is going to take up two albums since in all told there's eleven Familiar's trekking
their way thru college at the moment. We've got the seven first cousins in the Greek house and they will
play the primary roles in the story, but we'll introduce the others as well.
First up of course is heir Cary Familiar Sagittarius Family sim that dreams of being a Rock God.

Clint Familiar, Cary's younger brother, the Aquarius Fortune sim that wants to be a lawyer.

Channeling Lynard Skynard is Clint's twin and bubble addict Cher Familiar, an Aries popularity
sim that's gonna be a cult leader.

Eldest child of generation three spare Barbie and her husband Darren Dreamer, Bade
Dreamer's a Libra pleasure seeker.

Sick but pretty, yeah that works for Bailey Dreamer, Aquarius knowledge sim wants to be chief
of staff but is really only interested in genetic research.

Benjamin Familiar is the oldest son of Bob and Sierra Familiar. In addition to being an Aries
knowledge sim that wants to be a mad scientist, he's kinda naive and clueless.

9. "Welcome to the jungle

Pretty apt take on things there Boris. Meet our last resident of the Greek jungle, Boris Familiar;
he's Bob and Sierra's youngest another Aries but this time popularity. He's gonna be a general
and take command of the Unnatural Army for his father.

10. On the other side of campus we've got the subsidiary Greek house belonging to the
descendants of Al and Robin. My sims don't handle living in close quarters with their extended
family all that well and so I split the living arrangements up so that the only folks living at the
main house know they are related.

11. Becca Bross is the only child of Amelia Familiar and Bo Bross. Bo's one of the TSR challenge
sims that was in the hood, he and Amelia hit it off at first sight. Becca's a family sim.

12. Barclay Familiar is the first of Aaron and Tiffany (Sampson) Familiar's twin sons. Barclay is yet
another family sim. His high school sweetheart is living with the group as well. I doubt I have to
introduce Meadow Thayer to anyone but well there she is. Sorry, you won't be seeing Meadow
used as a tramp giving first kisses to generations of Familiar', she came home with Barclay his
first day of high school and she hasn't left yet.

13. Baird Familiar; Barclay's twin, is a relief as a Pleasure sim. Don't take me wrong I don't mind
family sims, but four in one house is about two too many.
Baird actually shouldn't be here since he's dead. Or he was, he got struck by lightning while in
the hot tub at his Aunt Amy's elder turning. Since he was already a YA and I didn't want to take
the time to get anyone in his house into the SS at that point; I cheated to get the reward and
then ressed him, but pfft he's not in the legacy house so who cares.

14. Family sim number four is Bea Familiar, only child of Amy and Gunnar Roque. Bea was born
before her parents got married so she kept the family name. Amy and Gunnar have a scary
three bolt natural attraction before changing turn on's and off's. They eventually got married
cause Amy's mother Robin needed another family member to get engaged and married in order
to not die in aspiration failure after Al pre-deceased her by a couple of hours. Bea spent most of
her teen years wanting to fall in love with cousin Cary, but she seems to have forgotten him at
this point which is just as well.

15. But enough with the introductions it's time for a party! The kids arrived at the Greek house just
in time for placeholder Charles's graduation party. I was gonna keep Charles around for awhile
but I didn't want him making booty calls to Betty while her kids were in the house. For some
reason I thought that might be awkward, come to find out compared to what happens in this
house on any given day catching their Mom with Charles woulda been nothing.

16. I see you've tapped the keg already Charles, are you gonna be sober enough to walk to the cab
once it gets here?
" *hic* course I am, it's just juice, there's nothing in this stuff to in.iiiiiiineb get me drunk *hic*"""

17. "Hehe look Aunt Amelia, Aunt Amy's old!"
Since I'm trying to keep all the houses up to speed most of the gen threes are elders. The only
exceptions to this are Amelia and Bob. Amelia just got lucky but since Bob's a vampire he may
never get old.

18. See nothing fazes these kids, Betty can make out with Charles while standing right beside Clint
and he has no reaction at all.
"I hate my father, I don't care if she cheats on the slime wad!"
Yeah but Cary loves his dad and he doesn't care either. So many men ate breakfast with these
kids that I doubt they know what they should be concerned about it.

19. Not like they have any morals themselves, Cary keeps making moves on Amelia. Bo already
caught them once when Cary flirted with Amelia during a family birthday party while I was
playing the spares houses. Bo wasn't able to make this party so they've only gotta worry about
Becca who's currently watching them like a hawk.

20. For once the party ends before any drama occurs, Charles does the spin and heads to the main
hood. Since Charles is a romance sim with a twenty woohoo want he'll be causing havoc both in
the main hood and in this one for some time.

21. The remainder of freshman year goes smoothly, the kids all settle into the Greek house and
start churning out their term papers. I always try to get any skilling that needs to be taken care
of and term papers taken care of the first day of the semester, that way I can keep a good eye
on the meter without many surprises

22. We then set about getting those that weren't friends at move in up to speed with the rest of the
gang. Bailey and Boris were fairly late arrivals to the family and both got kicked to uni almost
immediately upon turning teen, so they didn't get the chance to spend much time making friends
with the cousins before hand.
I always want my cousins on good terms, they don't count as family friends but there's always
someone there to fulfill a invite over or be an extra for a party later on.

23. We also purchased a set of work benches for the house and got everyone started out on
badges. Fall is such an awesome time for skilling that I didn't want to waste it. Most everyone in
the house is fairly well maxed out in regular skills, so they can get some badge time in instead.
Buying the benches tossed everyone into wanting some badge or another so we locked them
and they can pound away at benches when they need fun between now and gardening time in
the spring.

24. After the lightning accident last generation I added a covered porch to the house. The hot tub no
longer gets struck, but it does still cause the silly dormies to overheat if they spend all day in it. I
keep trying to get into the habit of telling everyone goodbye or calling them to meals
occasionally.
Really guys, I've got enough of my own sims to worry about, I can't be bothered with keeping
track of you dormies as well.

25. Benjamin begins to spread the gossip about how his mom burned the spaghetti around the
Greek house. Ben and Boris are clones but they don't act like it. Boris likes to cheat at chess
while all Ben does is spread the same stupid bit of gossip again and again and again. Ben has
no people skills, which is probably why he was voted "most likely to marry a servo" in high
school

26. Clint has people skills and is the first of the gang to nab a steady squeeze. Lucy is the current
cheerleader and has three bolts for Clint. I think she moved in on day one and never left, she
was always in the house and always incessantly vooo gerbitting everything and everyone.

27. There's a vampire in the house, it must be party time!
At this point I'm still making the party list up primarily of family members. That will change
quickly after tonight, cause family members start to scare me about now.

28. It started out innocently enough, just a couple of "cousins" having a pillow fight.

29. Next thing I see is Baird strutting around the house in his undies with a smirk on his face. Since
I know he was wearing clothing when he arrived this can only mean one thing.

30. On the other side of the house Cary's cozying up to Amelia. They aren't technically related, but
considering she's the same age as his mother it's still kinda creepy to me.

31. Kinda creepy to Boris as well, he's shocked by the nights events.
"Nah I'm only shocked that Dad caught me cheating at chess, he's never caught on to me
before."

32. Winter sets in, but still the favorite after class past time is bubble blowing. They may walk
around sneezing all the time but the bubbles keep them mellow enough that they don't care if
they get sick.

33. With sophomore year rolling right along Cher starts giving makeovers to various dormies that
walk past the house. Cher like's tattooing her future cult members in a recognizable way. No
hidden dark mark tattoo for Cher her motives are right out in the open for anyone to see.

34. "Speaking of the cult we've got to get our plans set, you all do realize that with the lifetime wants
we have sitting at this table we can control almost everything that goes on in Familiarity"
"Clint's gonna handle the law making, Cher's on the brain washing, I'm gonna be the
entertainment to keep everyone happy. Bade's getting the social network going and Bailey,
you're on genetic research and breeding. Ben's constructing the servo workforce and Boris
you'll train and maintain the Unnatural Army itself."

35. "Yeah but what are we gonna do with all this power once we get it? I mean if all you want to do is kill
Kiernan we don't need everyone for that I can just slip him some poison and boom!"
"Wait a second kill my Dad? I like my Dad"
"You're the only one that does Cher."
"It's not so much about eliminating any individual person, it's about developing a base of power from
which we can control any situation that arises. It's also a means for adding as many zombies, servos,
werewolves, aliens, vampires and plantsims to the storyline since readers like that kind of thing."
"Well then as long as this plot is actually going somewhere, I guess I'm all for it."
"It will last at least as long as Jenn's attention span does, which I figure is till right about . . . .
now.”

36. So Chaz you do realize that not only is your son the same age as you are he's actually got a
major declared and is a sophomore while you're still an undeclared freshman right? How does
that feel?
"Dude! the kid's got brains, awesome!"

37. Yeah he's got brain's all right. His current favorite thing to do is play with a pet brick.
"If Blite* can make a pet brick into a Roman Senator, I should at least be able to make one
stand up!"

38. "Here aliens aliens aliens!"
You won't get to meet them that way Cher. All you have to do to meet aliens is walk into the
Greek house you know, or talk to Ben he was abducted as a teen, he can tell you all about his
experience.
"Nah, Uncle Bob and Aunt Sierra sent him to a deprogramming after his 'experience' he doesn't
remember a thing. The last thing he remembers before getting kicked to UNI was his mom
burning the spaghetti."

39. I guess that explains why it's the only thing he can talk about.
You could ask Bailey about her little brother Banard though, she knows all about her Dad's
experience since she was a kid at the time. Don't bother asking Bade though he's never meet
Banard. I guess we should remedy that shouldn't we?

40. Hey Banard, go inside and introduce yourself to the big guy jumping on the couch, that's your
brother Bade.
Everyone meet Banard, Darren Dreamers fourth child. If you recall he has a son Dirk from his
Pleasantview days as well. I kept most of the family ties for my townies so some of them come
with kids and siblings. All the kids know about Dirk and are friends with him but he's still a
townie.

41. Since Cher never did lose her fascination with aliens I took a chance and grew up a townie for
her to see if they would hit it off. They did and Johnny Smith has moved into the secondary
Familiar house. Johnny's the green one by the way if you couldn't tell.

42. Just cause Cher and Johnny hit it off doesn't mean that Cher's decided he's "the one". Baird
invited her over so that she could get to know Johnny, he was willing to step aside for Johnny
but couldn't quite handle catching Cher and Charles in the hot tub together.

43. So he called up someone else that he has better chemistry with than Cher and then proceeded
to roll up really disgusting wants.
"Disgusting? I just wanna get engaged to my elderly first cousin once removed, what's so
disgusting about that?"
Betty doesn't do commitments that's what's disgusting. I thought you two could use each other
without any complications and then you went and rolled that.

44. Cary you are a family sim, Amelia is a member of your family. You should want her marriage to
be happy, you should not be flirting with her right in front of her husband every chance you get!
*headesk*

45. It took me most of Becca's teen hood to get these two to make up the first time. It's not like
either of them want to break up, they have three bolts and even when they are furious at each
other and in negative relationship points they will constantly roll up wants to flirt and admire
each other.
"Hey Amelia, we're best friends now you know what that means don't you? Now we can
woohoo!"
I think she's a little bit busy slapping her husband at the moment dork.

46. Becca was pretty depressed over her parents marital situation and since she had never had her
first kiss, she called up a dormie friend to rectify that. They were friends and they should have
had a high enough relationship to kiss but he refused her, and now she's gotta go thru
counseling sessions with the sim shrink.

47. I just don't understand why Becca's always so upset, I mean she spent her entire childhood
listening to her mother apologize to her father over a flirt with a "cousin". She's finally away from
that situation and all she gets to hear are death threats tossed back and forth between her
housemates and "Uncle" Darren on an hourly basis. Nope nothing abnormal about her life,
nothing at all.
Three people in this house want to see the ghost of Darren or drink Darren just cause they can't
stop looking thru the telescope to see him with the maid.

48. "Grats on falling in love with Johnny, Cher. Oh and grats on falling in love with Baird and Charles
and that nameless dormie as well. You know I never knew you were a romance sim."
I really should be able to blame all this on Betty somehow, blame it on her irresponsible
parenting and her inability to be a good moral yardstick for her daughter. But I like Betty too
much to do that, so I'll just blame it on Kiernan.

49. You look a little bit like a vampire there Cary, did Uncle Bob stop by for lunch today?
"I don't think it was a very good idea to build this snowman without putting on my coat first."

50. "He he help, any anybody? he elp f r r r r rozen m m mmust warm up"

51. "Oh My Wright! This is horrible what are we ever gonna do?"
I dunno, I've read that you can pull a hairdryer outa your toga and warm him up, but I don't see
where the action to do so is located.

52. "Pfft not that I mean THAT!"
Grrrr Holly Anderson you are now banned from being the placeholder for any more dormie
generations. My next placeholder is gonna be a terribly shy and meek little thing that would
never ever think of doing something like this.

53. So let's just start the clean up count now. I want to know how many relationships I have to fix
once this generation is done with university. Give me a simple cow flirt in front of the temporary
dormie boyfriend please!
I do have to feel sorry for Bob about this, he's as clueless as Ben here. And man getting
slapped by an ex firefighter with 10 body points must hurt.

54. "Everyone's talking about Mom and Dad, did she burn the spaghetti again?"

55. At least you're behaving yourself tonight. Must be because neither your husband nor your
daughter is at this party to witness any problems.
"Or it could be because Cary is still lining in a frozen heap outside the house."
Nah he got up on his own, he's upstairs taking multiple bubble baths to warm up and raise his
comfort level.
"I could help him with his comfort level"
No Amelia, just no.

56. "What? you look like you've never seen a daughter hug her father before!"
I've never seen you hug her back, but you know Kiernan even when you're hugging her you look
like you've got some ulterior motive for doing so. Kiernan is the only sim that can look evil when
he's actually being nice.
"I do have an ulterior motive, if she likes me you'll be less likely to kill me."
True, but she's not a family sim she won't really be that upset. Make up with your son and I
might reconsider hating you.

57. Why you little floozy weren't you just downstairs breaking up Bob's marriage?
"That was before I realized that Bob was no longer a Pleasure Sim and that he and I no longer
had any chemistry together. Bade and I have lots of chemistry!"
Not enough.

58. Amazingly enough no matter what happens during a party these guys just can't throw a bad
one. I leave the house on free will and the party will end up at least great. Must be all the
canoodling going on around here that keeps the party score jumping.
To clarify since there were a few questions, yes I use ACR and various other hacks. I'm not
going to get into my hack usage or what they all do as I don't think some of them would be rated
T. I don't use anything that I feel breaks the spirit of legacy challenge significantly, however I
don't keep score so that wouldn't matter anyway. To steal from Orikes* you can just consider
this a pseudo legacy.

59. Well maybe somebody really was upset over the drama, I've never actually seen anything like
this done autonomously before. Poor little snowman, Cary almost froze to death building that
and someone goes and stomps it.

60. "Hey Cher? Why are we doing our own term papers? Aren't walk byes and influence points
supposed to be used for these kinda things? We're popularity sims, we don't actually want to do
term papers, do we?"
"I know I don't"

61. No but you don't ever roll the want to influence them off on unsuspecting passerby's either. See
Boris it works this way, you come home from your final and I lock any term paper related wants.
If you have no wants then you get to do your own paper by default. The only two that ever roll
wants to influence their term papers are Cary and Clint.

62. Cary doesn't have time for term paper's he's got to rebuild his snowman army. I love the evil
little snowmen, but then again I just love mean sims in general. If only Cary could prank phone
call he'd be perfect!

63. NEWSFLASH!
There are some sims that have to have things waved under their noses before they know they
are there.

64. "Boobies!"
Yes Benjamin those were boobies, congratulations on finally discovering girls. Now good luck
using your zero people skills in order to meet them.

65. Ah ha! I've found my snowman killer!
Boris never does anything like this Ben! I just don't get it you're clones (8/9/9/3/1) and yet you
are sooo different. In fact Boris rarely does anything interesting at all, the only things he wants
to do is meet new people, paint and play chess.

66. "You say you got a good description of the fellow? Blond hair, blue eyes, green skin okay got it!
Shouldn't be that difficult to find. I'll come around next winter to search for clues, but right now
spring is in the air and I must migrate!"

67. Spring is in the air and it's time to find a legacy legal match for our heir. He's as picky as his
great grand pop was so this is gonna be tough. I really wanted a Verona Villian this generation
and at first I thought it'd be easy. First stop there was Tatiana, Cary told me he thought she was
hot. Cary lies, negative attraction even if I changed turn ons and offs it would only be a one bolt.

68. Next stop Cary tries to win "Aunt" Amelia in a poker game from her husband, but Bo wasn't
giving her up that easily.

69. "You said a Verona Villian didn't you?"
Well yeah but I meant one that was breed able.

70. Sorry Isabella, if the chemistry had been higher I might have been tempted to age you down but
chemistry wasn't there.
"That's okay I've raised enough kids thank you. Speaking of kids has Cary met my daughter?"

71. Yeah no dice with Bianca either, that's all the adult female family sims in VV. We even looked at
the fortune ones and he said no to them as well. Shrug he'll take a fortune sim that he's related
to, but give him one he's not related to and he refuses them. I should have pressed harder for
Hermia when he was a teen.

72. "Not to worry ma'am I've got a connection, we'll get him a match up made. It won't be a Verona
Villian though, is that okay?"
Bade at this point I'm gonna be happy if they aren't related. I'm not gonna complain too much
about where she comes from originally now.

73. "Okay Cher it's a go! Boris threw the party now all of us just need to invite two friends from the
bottom of our friend lists. Sims right on the friendship border are more likely to want to bring
someone with them. Someone's bound to bring an acceptable candidate with them."

74. "I may be mad at my husband but I'm not crazy enough to break my strict vegetarian diet."

75. "So can I bite you yet?"

"It's a fringe bene, sides Rebecca here brought the lady, she's over there with Cary now, go
