Associate professor at the Architectural Engineering Department, Najran University (NU) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He received B.Sc. in ‎Architectural Engineering from Sanaá University, Yemen in 1997 and Master Degree M.Tech in ‎Building Automation and Services from University of Mysore, India in 2005. Then, he obtained his PhD in Energy Efficient Designs from (USM), Malaysia. His research interests include energy efficient buildings, Sustainable Architecture, Built Environment, Passive Design Strategies, and Building Simulation. Dr. Al-Tamimi has published over 25-refereed journal and conference papers in related fields.
