It is a mathematical ratio that forms the
pinnacle of visual appeal through ideal
symmetry and proportions.
Leonardo Da Vinci was famously
obsessed over the Golden Mean and
used it to create masterpieces like
The Vitruvian Man and Mona Lisa.
This measurement of perfect proportions
is commonly seen in nature, art,
architecture and much more.
In aesthetic medicine, the Golden Ratio
of a person’s face is determined by its
height and width ratio and is further
measured by dividing the face into
horizontal fifths and vertical thirds based
on the person’s facial features. If the
divided areas are equal in width and
length, the person is determined to
have perfectly ‘Golden’ proportions.
What exactly is the Golden Ratio?
