- Storyboard design, if you are asking yourself what this mean, we will cover it in the next few minutes
- To understand why storyboarding is important we must ask what is UX design? User experience (UX) design is the process of creating products that provide meaningful and relevant experiences to users. This involves the design of the entire process of acquiring and integrating the product, including aspects of branding, design, usability, and function. Human-centered design (HCD) is a design and management framework that develops solutions to problems by involving the human perspective in all steps of the problem-solving process. Design thinking is a human-centered approach to innovation that draws from the designer's toolkit to integrate the needs of people, the possibilities of technology, and the requirements for business success
- In the most simplest terms, to be part of this discipline, you must be comfortable with change and experimenting. The process is cyclical and ongoing. It involves an ongoing process.
- The human centered design process usually starts with a how might me question (This is where we need to look for inspiration). Next a group will Ideate, in this case using storyboarding to familiarize with steps of a process, come up with sticky points, for example in customer interactions. Once sticky points are targeted ideas for change can be tested, sometimes that will be prototypes, part of the Implementation phase.
- There is a group at the forefront of creation, and innovation. Tim Brown CEO and President said this: Top 5 Behaviors of Design-Driven Organizations: Innovation, Cultivate Curiosity, Experiment Early and Often, Collaborate Across Silos, Spread Ideas Like a Virus, Go big and Go Fast
- Asking how might we questions, regarding the current and future building upgrades. This process led to further exploration and news plans for future incremental upgrades
- This is 2017 we knew we could improve on the process.
- We eliminate some sticky points and one interaction all together.
- Not all design thinking exercises will involve the processes looked at today. These resources can help you to choose the most proper steps in the human design process for your next design challenge.
